Cancellation, Refund and Return policy
Cancellation:
- If a customer cancels an order before the order has been shipped, Divine Chanderi may accept the order cancellation and refund the amount to the buyer within a reasonable period. In such cases, the order amount will be refunded but with any transaction fee charged by the Bank deducted. Please note that Divine Chanderi may not be able to cancel orders that are already shipped or in transit.
Return/Refund or Exchange eligibility
- Orders are only eligible for return/exchange if it has:
- Genuine Quality Issues: If you receive a saree with genuine quality problems, please contact with us within 7 days of receiving the product. We may request you to provide additional photographs or other forms of verification to process your return. We will initiate the refund/exchange process once we have received the product and investigated the issue.
- Damaged or Wrong/Missing Product: If your saree arrives damaged or if you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the product. We will initiate the refund process or send you the correct item at no additional shipping cost, based on your preference.
- Orders are NOT eligible for return/exchange if it has:
- RTO: Customers are requested to provide a complete shipping address with active phone number. Post failed delivery attempts by our shipping agency the package will be returned to our warehouse. If any reshipping requests are raised, customers will have to pay additional shipping charges at actuals.
- Color Mismatch: We take utmost care while photographing images to match the true color of the saree. However, there might be slight color variations due to differences in the display of the screen and lights. Kindly note color variation or color mismatch will not be considered as a valid reason to process a refund.
- Any requests for returns must be raised with in 7 days of receiving the product.
- A full unboxing/opening video of the parcel is mandatory for claiming a refund or exchange. The damage or the issue has to be captured in the video for ease of claiming refunds.
- All products being returned or exchanged must be unused, unworn, and in their original condition with tags attached.
- Please ensure that the saree is returned in its original packaging to prevent any damage during transit.
- We do not accept returns or exchanges on sarees that have been customized or altered to your specifications like adding fall and edging.
Refund/Exchange process
To initiate a return, we kindly request you to contact us within 7 days of receiving the product. When reaching out to us, please provide your order number, a detailed explanation of the issue, along with clear photographs and an unboxing video. Upon receiving your query, We will assess your situation on a case-to-case basis. and then present you with the available options.
- For your convenience, our team will organize a hassle-free reverse pick-up. Once the saree is received, it will undergo a thorough quality check to ensure it meets our standards.
- Upon the successful verification of the returned product’s quality, your refund or exchange request will be approved.
- In the event of an exchange, our team will provide comprehensive guidance regarding the exchange process. This includes facilitating the exchange for the same product or assisting you in selecting an alternative product of your choice from our wide range.
- In the event of a refund, We aim to process refunds promptly, typically within 7 business days. The refund will be credited through the original payment method used during the purchase, ensuring a seamless transaction experience for you.
- In rare cases where the quality check of the product does not meet our stringent standards, the item will be reshipped to you promptly and at no additional cost. Please note that in such instances, there won’t be an option for a refund or exchange.
Refund timeline
- Refunds (net of any additional charges applied on account of return ) shall be made to the same issuing bank through which the Product was purchased, using the same payment mode. Refunds are processed within 2 business days of receiving the product to Divine Chanderi warehouse.
- The refunded amount may take 7-10 business days from the date of initiation of refund to reflect in the bank account/Credit card/wallet.
- In the event of false, frivolous or baseless complaints regarding the delivery or quality of the Products, the customer will not be eligible for refund or replacement.
- Customers have the option to raise a chargeback with their bank, if the refund amount does not reflect within 15 days from the date of initiating refund.
However, we request the customers to reach out to us first for any queries and speedy resolution on any payment/ refund concerns.
